Internship 2018
- Assessed user needs and designed a bid estimation tool to boost engagement. I conducted user testing and partnered with product and engineering to iterate on design solutions. This tool became an attractive value driver for our customers.
- Redesigned Hearth’s home page after determining new product strategy and target users. Conducted journey maps, wireframes, and user testing. Worked closely with product and tech in an iterative process.
- Developed a customer experience research and insights report. I developed user personas, uncovered pain points and learnings, and developed design recommendations to increase overall customer satisfaction and app usage.
- Designed direct mailers in order to educate users about financing and Hearth’s capabilities. These campaigns increased 1st and 2nd activation rates by 40%.

In my free time, I lead design at Shea’d - a chrome extension to help customers support black-owned businesses. We won 100K from Pharrell William’s Black Ambition Prize to grow our product!
